Gives both Latin and Common names of butterflies and host plants, with detailed descriptions of each species and simple maps showing point records of each species across Manitoba. Only shows specimens of butterflies (compared to live adults in the field) on 25-30 plates in the middle of the book, but I pers|About the Author|Since 1970, Bill Preston has served as Curator of Reptiles, Amphibians and Fishes at the Manitoba Museum, also acting as Curator of Invertebrates for seven years.
